Collide

2017 | Paper, resin, metal pin

I was interested in juxtaposition. In particularly I was intrigued by assembly multiple things with contrasting effects. So I asked a question - How does one do it? I brought together different materials, forms and patterns into a singular craft. Why did I do it? It turned out there is a profound beauty to be found in the collision of difference. I hope the wearer can find something to wear to collide with it.

The work was selected and exhibited in the 2017 Arts Competition, Deakin University Warrnambool Campus.
